Hello everyone! I’ve got your daily review of where our former University of Kentucky Wildcats will be putting up shots in the NBA. There are two nationally televised games, and four more available to NBA League Pass subscribers.
First, let’s look at the nationally televised games on NBA-TV:
7:00pm on NBA-TV: Utah Jazz at Philadelphia 76ers. These are two young teams with emerging stars in Trey Lyles, Rudy Gobert, Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid. It should be a fun, fast-paced game with a lot of blocks and hopefully some high-flying dunks, too.
10:30pm on NBA-TV: New Orleans Pelicans at Golden State Warriors. The Pelicans signed Archie Goodwin yesterday, but I have not heard about whether he will play tonight in Oakland. Anthony Davis and Terrence Jones should be good to go. The short-handed Pelicans will certainly have their work cut out for them as they battle Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
Here’s the rest of the games for NBA League Pass subscribers:
7:00pm on NBA League Pass: Houston Rockets at Washington Wizards. John Wall is set to start in this one. Kyle Wiltjer could see some playing time, but the longest he’s been on the floor in a game this season is about three minutes.
7:00pm on NBA League Pass: Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Hornets. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will start tonight for the Hornets, and Aaron Harrison could see playing time, but he has not checked in during the last five games.
8:00pm on NBA League Pass: Orlando Magic at Chicago Bulls. Jodie Meeks is still out with that foot injury, but Rajon Rondo will start for the Bulls.
8:00pm on NBA League Pass: Miami Heat at Oklahoma City Thunder. Enes Kanter will sub in throughout the game for starting center Steven Adams, helping out on the boards.
There you have it, a quick rundown of where to see some former Cats tonight. Enjoy!
University of Kentucky alumna. DeMarcus Cousins was my gateway into the NBA. Watching former Kentucky Wildcats thrive in the pros is the best.
