Where to Watch the Wildcats: NBA Games on November 8, 2016

Happy Tuesday, everyone. If you’re a U.S. citizen, I hope you voted today! Now that that’s over with, let’s move on to lighter topics: finding out where our former Kentucky Wildcats are playing in the NBA on this busy night.

Here are the two nationally televised games:

7:00pm ET on NBA-TV: Atlanta Hawks at Cleveland Cavaliers. We could see DeAndre Liggins check in to provide some solid defense for the Cavs, although during the last five games combined, he has played less than five minutes. It’ll still be a nice game, of course, featuring LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Dwight Howard.

10:30pm ET on NBA-TV: New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings. This is the game of the night as far as largest number of former Cats in the building. Anthony Davis, Terrence Jones, Archie Goodwin, DeMarcus Cousins, Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere will be in the Golden 1 Center tonight. Odds are that we will not see Skal play tonight, but we could see Archie. The Pels are very short-handed due to injuries and they need all the help they can get.

Here are the rest of the games for subscribers of NBA League Pass:

7:30pm ET on NBA League Pass: Minnesota Timberwolves at Brooklyn Nets. Look for Karl Anthony-Towns and his teammates to dominate the Nets.

8:00pm ET on NBA League Pass: Denver Nuggets at Memphis Grizzlies. Two former Cats in this one: Jamal Murray and Andrew Harrison.

10:00pm ET on NBA League Pass: Phoenix Suns at Portland Trail Blazers. Devin Booker has had the hot hand for the Suns, seemingly grabbing a new career scoring record in every game. He’ll be there along with Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyler Ulis.

10:30pm ET on NBA League Pass: Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers. The young Lakers are putting on shows for folks tuning in to watch; they have nowhere to go but up, and they’re having fun discovering just how good they could be. Julius Randle, D’Angelo Russell and Brandon Ingram are making names for themselves as a possible emerging “big three.”

So, there you have it, tonight’s slate of NBA games featuring former Kentucky Wildcats. Enjoy!
