Happy Sunday, everyone. The free preview period of NBA League Pass ends in a couple days, so let’s make the most of it, and see what former Wildcats are playing today.
4:30pm ET on NBA League Pass: Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Clippers. Trey Lyles will come off the bench to do battle with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin today in Staples Center. Starting Jazz center Rudy Gobert battling with Jordan will definitely be a great show.
6:00pm ET on NBA League Pass: Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns. According to today’s Phoenix Suns game notes, Devin Booker is a game-time decision due to a sore toe on his right foot, but former Wildcats Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Tyler Ulis are available.
7:00pm ET on NBA League Pass: Los Angeles Lakers at Oklahoma City Thunder. Julius Randle will likely start in this one, taking on reserve Enes Kanter. Look for Steven Adams to give Randle a lot of trouble in the paint. The real draw for this game will be youngster D’Angelo Russell going up against Russell Westbrook.
8:00pm ET on NBA-TV: Washington Wizards at Memphis Grizzlies. Two former Wildcats are in this one: John Wall and Andrew Harrison. The Wizards last played on Thursday; the Grizzlies played last night. The high-energy Wizards will likely take advantage of the tired Grizz tonight. UPDATE: The Memphis Grizzlies have announced that Andrew Harrison has a sore hip and is questionable for tonight.
8:00pm on NBA League Pass: Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets. Kyle Wiltjer should be available for this one; he doesn’t see much playing time yet, but he could sub in.
So, there you have it. Enjoy your Sunday!
University of Kentucky alumna. DeMarcus Cousins was my gateway into the NBA. Watching former Kentucky Wildcats thrive in the pros is the best.
